36: The only question to ask

Doing something for yourself is fine, important and sane. It’s crucial to have me-time, where you awake 0therwise sleeping curiosity and playfulness you once enjoyed as a child. It is wonderful to rejoice the celebration of one’s behavior, a behavior that is 100% compatible to how you want to behave.

Dancing in front of the mirror listening to your favorite song and showing your tongue and making other grimaces. No problem. Drawing trees from your balcony because the view is simply fantastic. Go for fit. Walking naked around your apartment because nobody sees you. Totally fine. Losing time on the playground while you maybe enjoy the space more than your child. Voilà.

Stop. Playtime is over. You artistic solo expression had its time. Now you think how to apply your skills to serve the world and make you happy at the same time. Playful and artistic elements explicitly allowed.

From today on “How can I serve the world best?” is the first question to ask yourself after you wake up – every day. It guarantees that what you do is according to how you can be best used – not misused but being a servant, putting yourself into a full and pure service position.

The last question before you go to bed is “How did I serve the world best today?“. It guarantees that you are happy with the day because you made progress yourself, helped other people and enjoyed it.

If you don’t enjoy it, don’t know how to serve people or don’t make progress, join a journey of self-discovery. I’ll be accompanying you together with excellent other fellow travelers in a supportive community, helping each other grow as high and much as you want. You set yourself the limit and decide who has a say in your growth.

How did you serve the world best?

Don’t forget to ask, and start tonight. Thanks Benny Franklin!

The take-away from today: There’s a good reason that mantras exist. They’re easy to remember and repeat. As much as going to the toilet does reciting them become a part of your everyday life. How to serve the world best today is the only question you need to ask, the foundation out of which all your actions are based. Yes, there will be days when you’re caught in bureaucracy, but it takes just a little change in perspective to also see these interactions as service opportunities. Try it, and be playful and creative about it. It’s more fun. Really.
